I am a coach.
I came to coaching from a career spent building and leading marketing organisations in tech, gaming and entertainment. That is where most of what I bring to it comes from.
I take a small number of clients at a time, alongside senior advisory work with companies in the sector.
Career
Most recently I was Vice President of Global Consumer Marketing at EFG, the largest esports company in the world, leading a team of over fifty across more than fifteen markets. Before that I rebuilt and scaled their digital marketing and creator function.
At Meta I led Partner Marketing for the VR ecosystem globally. Before that I ran gaming marketing across EMEA and LATAM, building the function from nothing as the business grew from a single product into a multi billion dollar ecosystem.
At Electronic Arts I led strategic marketing and partnerships for EMEA mobile publishing, on a business worth more than $100 million a year. At Disney I ran digital brand strategy for Star Wars and Marvel across EMEA.
I studied marketing at Bocconi and philosophy at the University of Milan, and trained as a coach through the Co-Active programme.

Co-Active Trained Practitioner

How I work
I lead with coaching. The approach I trained in is called Co-Active, and it starts from a simple assumption: you are not a problem to be solved. You arrive resourceful and capable, usually holding more of the answer than you can see from where you are standing. My work is to help you find it, look at it honestly, and decide what you are going to do about it.
In practice that means we follow what is actually there on the day rather than working through a syllabus, and that we do not stay strictly inside the job. A decision about a role is rarely only about the role. What you want your life to look like, and what you are no longer willing to trade for work, tend to be where the real answer sits.
Once that is clear, we work on how you go about it: the next move, the conversation you need to have, what you will do differently before we speak again.
I have spent a career in your industry, which changes the texture of the conversation. You never have to explain the context or justify why something that looks small is not small.
